# Connect ChatGPT to Beamline

ChatGPT plans screens and reads every element. To build in your repo, use Codex.

Beamline's MCP server: https://mcp.beamline.io/mcp (remote, Streamable HTTP, OAuth sign-in).

1. **Turn on developer mode.** Settings → Apps → Advanced settings. Paid plans only.
2. **Create the app.** Name it Beamline, paste this address and keep OAuth.

   ```text
   https://mcp.beamline.io/mcp
   ```
3. **Sign in.** ChatGPT opens the sign-in: Google, GitHub or an e-mail code.

Then your agent reads what each of Beamline's 190 React components and screens is for (beamline_capabilities), installs only the parts a screen needs into your repo (beamline_install), as a ready-built package or as plain React source, and checks the result. Sign in once with Google, GitHub or an e-mail code: the free sample opens at once, and what your team bought comes with you.
