# Terms of sale and licence

What you buy when you buy Beamline, what you may do with it, and who you are dealing with.

## Who sells Beamline

Beamline is made and sold by Danylo Pravda, an individual in Ukraine, 100A Vasylkivska St., Apt. 467, Kyiv, Ukraine (“we”). Contact: [hello@beamline.io](mailto:hello@beamline.io) · [+380 93 969 0229](tel:+380939690229).

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

For orders paid through Paddle, Paddle’s [buyer terms](https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) also apply to the payment.

## What you buy

The complete system: 190 React elements, screens and looks, installed into your own apps by your coding agent through our hosted service and installer. One payment, no subscription. It includes every new version we publish for 12 months from your purchase; every version you received stays yours to use after that.

The free sample is a small part of the same system, free, under the same licence.

## Your licence

- One licence covers you and everyone who works with you on your apps, employees and contractors alike. There are no seats.

- Use, copy and change Beamline in any number of your own and your clients’ apps, commercial ones included, and ship those apps to anyone.

- A client may receive and maintain the source of an app you built for them, including the Beamline parts in it.

- You may not sell, share or give away Beamline itself, or a substantial part of it, as a component library, UI kit, template, theme, starter or similar product, and you may not publish its source on its own (a public repository, a package registry, a file share).

- You may not use Beamline to build a dataset for training or fine-tuning a machine-learning model. Using coding agents on your own projects is fine; that is what Beamline is for.

- Keep the notices that third-party parts require (for example TradingView’s attribution on the price chart). Those parts come under their own licences, listed with the product.

## Your account and your team

You sign in with Google, GitHub or a code sent to your e-mail (our sign-in is run by Clerk). A purchase belongs to your team: everyone you add to it on [your account page](https://beamline.io/account) installs Beamline through their own sign-in, and you can remove people at any time. Your agent signs in the same way and gets what your team owns the moment the payment confirms.

We may suspend access that is shared outside your team, and access ends after a refund or a chargeback. The parts already installed in your apps keep working without our service; the service is how you get elements and new versions, and we run it on a best-effort basis.

## Prices and taxes

Prices are in US dollars. At a card checkout Paddle adds the VAT or sales tax that applies where you live and shows the total before you pay.

## Refunds

30 days, no questions asked: see the [refund policy](https://beamline.io/refunds).

## No warranty; our liability

Beamline is provided “as is”. We work hard to make every element correct and accessible, but we do not promise it fits a particular purpose. The trading elements display data and collect order details; they do not execute trades and are not financial advice, and the demonstration data in them is invented.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law in your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

## Changes, law and disputes

We may update these terms; the version on this page when you paid applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, and disputes go to the courts of Kyiv, Ukraine, without taking away the protection that the law of your country of residence gives you as a consumer. Write to us first: most things are settled by one e-mail.
