Connect Windsurf to Beamline
Beamline's MCP server: https://mcp.beamline.io/mcp (remote, Streamable HTTP, OAuth sign-in).
- Add the server. Cascade → MCP → Open MCP config file, then add:
{ "mcpServers": { "beamline": { "serverUrl": "https://mcp.beamline.io/mcp" } } } - Sign in. When Windsurf asks: Google, GitHub or an e-mail code.
- Connect each app. Once per app folder. Every later session there uses Beamline without being asked.
npx --yes -p https://mcp.beamline.io/cli.tgz beamline-connect --hosted https://mcp.beamline.io/mcp
Then your agent reads what each of Beamline's 190 React components and screens is for (beamline_capabilities), installs only the parts a screen needs into your repo (beamline_install), as a ready-built package or as plain React source, and checks the result. Sign in once with Google, GitHub or an e-mail code: the free sample opens at once, and what your team bought comes with you.
